Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy, a Catholic, Dominican, college-preparatory school, educates young women for a life of faith, integrity and truth.
Accreditation & Governance
Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy is accredited by the California Association of Independent Schools (CAIS) and the Western Catholic Education Assocation (WCEA), and is co-accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). FSHA is also a member of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) and the National Catholic Education Association (NCEA). [WCEA accredits Catholic elementary and secondary schools in nine Western states (26 dioceses/archdioceses) and the territory of Guam. WCEA co-accredits and is in partnership with three regional agencies (WASC, NAAS, NCA CASI) and two private agencies (CAIS and HAIS).]
FSHA is a California, 501(c)3, nonprofit corporation governed by a 19-person lay and religious Board of Directors.

Approximately 15% are boarding students and 85% are day students
Minorities represent over 40% of the student body
Boarding students come from throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, China, Taiwan, Korea, Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore and the Philippines.
Day students come from 32 local communities, including Alhambra, Altadena, Arcadia, Azusa, Bradbury, Burbank, Castaic, Duarte, El Monte, Glendale, La Cañada Flintridge, La Crescenta, Los Angeles, Monrovia, Monterey Park, Montrose, Newhall, Northridge, Pasadena, Rosemead, San Gabriel, San Marino, Santa Clarita, Shadow Hills, Sierra Madre, South Pasadena, Sun Valley, Sunland, Temple City, Tujunga, Valencia and West Covina.
