本人一时糊涂用同学的credit card在网上买了大概$1000的东西, 后来同学报警, 学校的警察通过email找到了我并把我叫去学校的police department问话. 在谈话时我承认了事情是我做的但是没有任何的签字和指纹之类的记录. 在警察把报告上交之前同学决定原谅我并且去警局撤了案子, 同时我也把钱还给了他,现在case的status是closed,应该是结案.
在警察的incident report上面, 最后有这样两段话:
"I prepared an affidavit for the charges of Felony theft of property. It was taken to the prosecuting Attorney's office for review. The charges sought are Fraudulent use of Credit Card, Class D Felonies"
紧接着我同学去撤案后的report有一段:
"The victim decided not to pursue criminal charges. I called the prosecutors office and had the affidavit for the warrant pulled and stopped the process. This case is closed due to the victims refusal to prosecute"
我同学说我已经没事了, 但是会有record. 我还是很担心,以后我还会不会被控告和受处罚, 会不会影响以后的签证.
啊啊啊啊一失足成千古恨啊, 感觉好对不起朋友和父母~~
