Phone: (661) 259-8942 History The Valencia Library was officially dedicated on May 24, 1972 and opened with a collection totaling 50,000 volumes. The library continued to serve the residents of the Santa Clarita Valley until the devastating January 1994 Northridge earthquake. Closed for extensive repairs, the library was completely remodeled and reopened in November 1994 with a collection totaling 210,000 volumes. |
