The Capri has been one of Eagle Rock’s hidden gems since 1963. Founded by Helen and Joe Sams, a couple committed to their community and to their diners, The Capri has always sought to provide good food in a friendly atmosphere at reasonable prices. The Sams served the best pizzas and pastas in Eagle Rock—the recipes of which have been passed down to The Capri’s new co-owners, Jim and Jeff Thiel.
Jim and Jeff continue to serve all of the old Capri favorites—homemade sausage and meatballs, tangy sauces, crispy garlic bread and savory soups—to a loyal customer base from Eagle Rock, Highland Park, Los Feliz, and nei***oring Occidental College. After a recent appearance on Gordon Ramsay’s popular reality show, Jim and Jeff have been re-energized and eagerly await the opportunity to serve you. Mangia! And enjoy. |
